New Google Website Optimizer Features

Google have made their first major update to their multivariate testing tool Website Optimizer since it was made available earlier this year.

The most notable addition is A/B Split testing which is useful for websites who do not need to go overboard with potentially 100’s of elements being tested with multivariate testing.

Robert Gorell from FutureNow has posted a very interesting interview with Tom Leung who is a Project Manager at Google. Tom talks about some of the great success stories from clients who have used Google Website Optimizer to increase their conversion rates. Tom also hints at some of the creative ways people are using the tool along with a commentary on the new features.
